Czech FinMin wants new euro entry target in August

Kalousek told reporters after a weekly government meeting that he personally would like to see the date set, and that reforms he is working on to reduce the public fiscal deficit have an eye on making 2012 a realistic euro adoption date.

"I would personally like to have a euro adoption target date set, but if I am in the minority, it won't be set (in the strategy plan)," he said.
