...faster than the central bank had forecast, the bank (CNB) said on Friday.
It said the structure of growth varied from the bank's forecast, but the deviations were insignificant.
"The continued acceleration of household consumption, whose pace reached 5.4 percent at the end of the last year, exceeded the CNB's expectation," the bank said.
It said government spending was also slightly faster, while fixed capital formation was in line with the bank's forecast. The negative contribution of net exports was larger than expected.
