BRATISLAVA, March 15 (Reuters) - Slovakia's February EU-norm
inflation (HICP) was slightly lower than the central bank (NBS)
had expected,...
...the NBS said on Thursday.
Monthly inflation stood at 0.1 percent in February, putting
year-on-year price growth at 2.0 percent, the Statistics Office
said earlier on Thursday.
The bank did not say what level of price growth it had
expected and did not comment on the possible monetary policy
implications of the figures.
"Annual inflation dynamics should slightly accelerate in
March, compared with February, due to expected developments in
fuel prices," the central bank said.
"Prices of services could also accelerate slightly on the
year-on-year basis," it added.
