NOTE. The numbers were part of a report, the so-called notification, on
public debt and deficit levels which each European Union member state submits to
Brussels twice a year.
Data in brackets were reported in the previous notification in October.
The EU's executive body, the European Commission, is expected to review the
data in the second half of April.
All figures were calculated under the EU-harmonised ESA 1995 methodology.
