...projection by about 0.1 percentage points, the CNB's chief economic forecaster said on Tuesday.
The annual increase in the consumer price index (CPI) quickened from 1.5 percent in February, but CPI remained stuck below the CNB's tolerance range of one percentage point either side of a 3 percent goal, data showed earlier on Tuesday.
Tomas Holub, head of the CNB's monetary and statistics department, said in a statement that CPI net of regulated items and volatile food and fuel prices kept hovering at "very low levels" and signalled price pressures "remained modest".
The March uptick moved inflation closer to the CNB's projection as the February number had been some 0.3 percentage points lower than its latest quarterly forecast made in January, before a re-weighting of the CPI basket.
