BRATISLAVA, April 24 (Reuters) - The Slovak central bank (NBS) board voted 7-2 in favour of cutting the main two-week repo rate by 25 basis...

...points to 4.25 percent, NBS Governor Ivan Sramko told a news conference on Tuesday.

Sramko said he saw no inflation pressures from the country's high economic growth, and that monetary conditions in the first quarter and a favourable inflation outlook created room for policy easing.

Most analysts in a Reuters poll had predicted the 25 basis point rate cut, the same as a rate reduction in March, as a reaction to a strong crown currency which had tightened monetary conditions.
