PRAGUE, April 26 (Reuters) - Temelin, the Czech Republic's biggest power station, is scheduled to re-link its 1,000 megawatt Unit 1 to the...

...grid in small hours on Friday, the plant's owner CEZ said.

Temelin shut down the reactor due to a pump failure earlier on Thursday, several hours after re-connecting it to the grid following an unrelated pump repair.

CEZ operates two 1,000-megawatt reactors at Temelin, which is near the Austrian border in south of the country.

Temelin is the biggest asset of state-owned CEZ, Europe's second largest power exporter after France's EDF selling electricity to neighbouring west European countries. It accounts for 16 percent of CEZ's installed domestic capacity.
