Czech Telefonica O2 says Q1 on track

...full year, Chief Executive Jaime Smith told shareholders at an annual meeting on Thursday.

"In the first quarter, we are more or less in line with the guidance that we gave for the full year," Smith said.

The telecoms group, majority owned by Spain's Telefonica , has forecast that revenues will grow by 1-3 percent this year while operating income before depreciation and amortisation (OIBDA) should be flat or fall by up to one percent.

The company is due to release first quarter results later on Thursday.
