PRAGUE, April 26 (Reuters) - Net profit at Czech phone operator Telefonica O2 Czech Republic rose 12.5 percent in the first quarter of 2007 to 2.31 billion crowns ($111.3 million) on revenue rising 2.4 percent to 15.18 billion, the company said on Thursday.

The market had expected a 2.22 billion crown net profit on revenues of 15.12 billion, according to a Reuters poll of analysts.

Operating income before depreciation and amortisation (OIBDA) fell 2.1 percent to 7.04 billion.

The company also reiterated its full-year OIBDA outlook of zero to -1 percent and an outlook for a 1-3 percent revenue rise.
