Icelandic group Icelandair said on Friday it had agreed to buy the largest privately owned airline in the Czech Republic, Travel Service.
It said in a statement that the turnover of Travel Service in 2006 was 190 million euros ($256 million).
The Czech group, which also owns low cost airline Smart Wings, operated 12 Boeing 737-800 and 737-500 aircraft and carried more than 1.8 million passengers last year, it said.
