Slovak prelim Q1 GDP +8.9 pct yr/yr, below fcast

    Grwoth slowed down from 9.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 
2006, and the figure for the first three months of 2007 was 
below the 10.5 percent forecast by analysts in a Reuters poll. 
    The Statistics Office did not release any detailed data in 
its flash GDP estimate. It is due to publish detailed first 
quarter figures on June 1.
