TRIPARTITE AGREES TO MINOR LABOUR CODE CHANGES
The Tripartie Council of employers, unions and the government agreed to 17 minor changes to the labour code in areas such as overtime and breaks, the daily Pravo reported on Friday.
BUDVAR TRANSFORMATION
Agriculture Minister Petr Gandalovic is looking to begin the process in June of changing the structure of brewer Budejovicky Budvar from a state national company to a joint stock company. This would help pave the way toward eventual privatisation of the firm, and he said, allow it to increase capacity to capitalise on export demand.
