...central bank (CNB) had forecast, the bank said on Friday.
It said the deviation was due to faster-than-forecast household consumption, while fixed capital investments were slower.
The bank also said May inflation of 2.4 percent year-on-year, also reported on Friday, was half a percentage point above the bank's April quarterly forecast, mainly due to higher fuel prices.
State-regulated prices, food and other items also grew slightly above expectations, it said.
