PPI DATA

The Statistics Office will publish producer price data for May, 0700 GMT. Analysts forecast producer price inflation of 0.1 percent on the month and 1.5 percent on the year in May.

QUESTION HOUR

Prime Minister Robert Fico and his ministers will answer queries from deputies during a regular question hour in parliament, 1200 GMT.

PARLIAMENT SESSION

Parliament will continue its regular monthly session. MPs are currently debating amendments to labour code.

C.BANK VICE GOVERNOR

The parliament is expected to vote on nomination of Viliam Ostrozlik to the post of a central bank vice governor.

CBANK LIKELY TO TURN HAWKISH AFTER ECB MEMO

The Slovak central bank (NBS) is likely to become more hawkish following a warning from the European Central Bank (ECB) over the inflation outlook ahead of planned euro zone entry in 2009.
