BRATISLAVA, June 29 (Reuters) - The Slovak crown held steady against the euro on Friday, but dealers expected it to test stronger levels in the...

...coming days, helped by an improved sentiment on emerging markets.

The currency was at 33.755 per euro as of 0815 GMT, compared with 33.750 late on Thursday.

"Trading activity is low this morning, but there are firming pressures on the crown," said Tatra Banka dealer Milan Cavojec. "We might test 33.650-680 per euro levels."

The crown firmed 0.4 percent against the euro in a low-key session on Thursday, driven by gains on Hungary's forint and the Polish zloty.

"The overnight Fed (Federal Reserve) statement after the rate decision is favourable for carry trades and therefore the crown could slightly strengthen also on Friday," KBC Bank wrote in a market note.

The Fed held interest rates steady as expected on Thursday, echoing concerns about inflation. The remarks reinforced expectations that the bank would stand pat for some time. -----------------MARKET SNAPSHOT AT 0815 GMT------------------- Crown/Euro 33.755 vs 33.750 on Thursday (-0.01 pct) Crown/Dollar 25.095 vs 25.040 (-0.22 pct) 5-yr govt bond yield 4.545/4.246 vs 4.543/4.243 pct 7-yr govt bond yield 4.749/4.549 vs 4.749/4.549 pct --------------------------------------------------------------
