PRAGUE, July 4 (Reuters) - Private equity fund Pamplona is
aiming to sell a 43.4...
...percent stake in Czech artificial textile
maker Pegas Nonwovens , Pegas said on Wednesday.
Pamplona Capital Partners is the main shareholder in Pegas
and its stake is about $156 million at current market prices.
By market share, Pegas is Europe's number-two fabrics
supplier to makers of hygiene products such as nappies.
Polish floor coverings and textiles manufacturer Lentex
said in mid-May it might be interested in taking over
Pegas, the smallest Czech blue-chip stock with market

Pamplona took Pegas public in December last year and agreed
not to sell its stake before June 18.
Pegas said Pamplona picked ING as an adviser for the sale.
Shares in Pegas, which Erste Bank downgraded to 'hold' from
'accumulate', opened 1.8 percent lower at 810 crowns,
underperforming a 0.1 percent gain in the Prague bourse's
blue-chip PX index .
The stock hit a record 848 crowns on June 27.
