"This is more than double the prices of supplies this year on the Czech market," CEZ said in a statement.
CEZ said other firms that took part in the tender, run by Kosovo power company KEK, were also awarded orders.
Prices in the Balkans have shot up due to fast economic growth and to the forced closure of a nuclear power station in Bulgaria, which has halted the country's exports.
German baseload prices for August delivery traded at 36.50 euros on Wednesday, while peakload supplies traded at 57 euros.
CEZ said the Kosovo order was not for a big volume and that it was for power supplied in given hours on a daily basis.
