PRAGUE, July 26 (Reuters) - Temelin, the Czech Republic's biggest power station, plans to disconnect its 1,000 megawatt Unit 2 from the...

...power grid from Friday night to allow for repairs on a generator, the plant's owner CEZ said.

CEZ wants to re-link the nuclear reactor, one of its two 1,000-megawatt units, to the grid on Sunday afternoon, a Temelin spokesman said in a statement.

Temelin is the biggest asset of state-owned CEZ, Europe's second largest power exporter after France's EDF . It accounts for 16 percent of CEZ's installed domestic capacity.
