PRAGUE, July 26 (Reuters) - Six of the seven board members of the Czech central bank (CNB) voted for a 25 basis point hike in interest rates at...

...a policy meeting on Thursday, while one voted for a 50 basis point hike, a CNB statement said.

The statement added that in the CNB's quarterly forecasts, updated on Thursday, risks to the base line forecast scenario are "roughly balanced".

Earlier on Thursday the CNB board voted to raise interest rates by 25 basis points to a near five-year high, matching market expectations that tighter policy was needed to confront risks stemming from a weaker crown and strong growth.

Policymakers raised the main two-week repo rate used to mop up excess money market liquidity to 3 percent after a quarter-point hike in May.
