    The Statistics Office will publish producer price data for 
June, 0700 GMT. 
     
    EURO ADOPTION SEMINAR 
    The finance ministry holds a seminar on banking sector 
preparations for planned 2009 euro adoption. 
     
    FX RESERVES DATA 
    The central bank (NBS) will release its weekly foreign 
currency reserves data, 1200 GMT. 
     
    SLOVAK CROWN FALLS TO 2-WK LOWS VS EURO, SEEN WEAK 
    The Slovak crown fell to two-week lows against the euro on 
Thursday, as investors trimmed exposure to riskier emerging 
assets, and dealers said more losses might be in the pipeline in 
the short run.

    SE LACKS SKILLED LABOUR 
    Slovakia's dominant power producer Slovenske Elektrarne 
(SE), controlled by Italy's Enel , is lacking skilled 
labour to operate the third and fourth block at the Mochovce 
nuclear power plant, which it aims to complete by 2013.

    HEALTH CARE SAVINGS 
    The health ministry is proposing to reduce the number of 
hospitals, which health insurers will be obliged to have a 
contract with, to 42 from 73. It also wants to cut the number of 
hospital beds by 3,000, hoping these measures will bring savings 
of more than 2 billion crowns ($82.51 million) a year.
