    Analysts in a Reuters poll predicted consumer prices to have 
risen by 0.1 percent on the month in July for an annual 
inflation rate of 2.4 percent. Core inflation was forecast to 
have risen by 0.1 percent month-on-month, and 2.6 percent 
year-on-year  .
