...Thursday. Annual inflation eased to a record low of 1.2 percent , data published earlier on Thursday showed. The market had expected a slowdown to 1.4 percent from the previous record of 1.5 percent in June and May. The NBS did no reveal its July inflation prediction, nor did it comment on possible implication for monetary policy settings. "Annual inflation dynamics could accelerate slightly in August compared with July, mainly due to an expected acceleration in the year-on-year dynamics of services prices, as well as due to a higher rise in food prices," the NBS said in a statement.
