excluding fuels, was lower than expected in August and kept
overall consumer year-on-year...

below the central bank's (CNB) July quarterly forecast, the CNB
said on Monday.
The central bank said monetary policy inflation -- adjusted
for the primary impact of indirect tax changes -- was at 1.3
percent. It added that the impact of indirect tax changes, fuel
and food prices were higher than it had forecast.
Year-on-year inflation grew to 2.4 percent in August from
2.3 percent in July, in line with market expectations.
