    NOTE. The data are calculated according to Slovak 
national methodology. 
    Analysts in a Reuters poll predicted consumer prices to have 
fallen by 0.1 percent on the month in August for an annual 
inflation rate of 2.2 percent. 
    Core inflation was forecast to have fallen by 0.1 percent 
month-on-month, putting the annual rate at 2.4 percent 
year-on-year  .
