PRAGUE, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Czech car maker Skoda Auto, a unit of Germany's Volkswagen AG , has raised its output forecast to 1 million cars in 2010 from an earlier reported 800,000, news agency CTK said on Tuesday.

It quoted board member Martin Jahn as saying at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt the company had accelerated its expansion plans.

"Today the vision is that we may make a million cars already in 2010, including cars made abroad," he said.

Skoda said earlier this year it planned to hit the million mark in 2012, up from 556,347 cars last year and 616,00 in 2007.

Skoda is the largest Czech company by sales and the country's biggest exporter, shipping most of its output abroad.
