    The Statistics Office will release August EU-norm inflation 
data, 0700 GMT. 
     
    C.BANK INFLATION COMMENT 
    The central bank will release comments on August EU-norm 
inflation data, inflation forecast for September also included, 
by 1500 GMT. 
     
    FOREX RESERVES 
    The central bank will release weekly foreign currency 
reserves data 1200 GMT. 
     
    SLOVAKS IN TALKS WITH EUROSTAT ON KEY DEFICIT 
    Slovakia is in talks with the EU's statistical service 
Eurostat on revisions of budget deficit data at a crucial time 
for euro entry, Slovak officials said on Thursday.

    FINMIN KEEPS 2007 GROWTH FCAST, CUTS CPI 
    The Slovak Finance Ministry has maintained its forecast for
