PRAGUE, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The Czech central bank (CNB) is sticking to its outlook for higher interest rates to contain resurgent inflation,...

...but views on the timing of rate increases differ among board members, board member Vladimir Tomsik said.

"It still holds true that we are finding ourselves in the period of rising rates," Tomsik said in a presentation delivered at a regional chamber of commerce meeting on Monday and posted on the CNB's official Web site, www.cnb.cz, on Tuesday.

"However, the bank board is not automated and individual members differ in what weight they assign to the risks to the inflation projection. This leads to differing opinions, particularly on the timing of a rate rise," he added.

The board will meet to discuss interest rates on Thursday. Most analysts expect a pause in the tightening drive with the main two-week repo rate to hold steady at 3.25 percent due to a firmer crown and a softer policy backdrop abroad [CNB/INT].
