Germany's Volkswagen AG , will invest 2 billion euros

    TV BROADCASTING: The parliament has approved an amendment to 
several media acts, which allows six suspended new stations to 
launch digital terrestrial television broadcasting. The 
newcomers will compete with TV Nova station of Central European 
Media Enterprises (CME)  and TV Prima of Sweden's MTG 
 , both of which will also be expected to 
switch from analog to fully digital broadcasting. 
    The draft has yet to be approved by the Senate and signed by 
the President to become law.

    NATURAL GAS PRICES: Households that purchase their natural 
gas from RWE Transgas  pay an average of 4.8 percent 
more from Monday for gas supplies. Prices in Prague and its

6.2 percent.
