It said in a statement that food prices -- including the impact of a tobacco tax hike -- as well as fuel prices were higher than the CNB's staff had projected in the quarterly inflation outlook made in July.
Earlier on Monday, September data showed a 0.3 percent month-on-month drop in consumer prices, which pushed annual inflation to a 13-month high and keept alive the possibility of another interest rate hike before the end of the year.
