RPT-Czech CTP to spend 600 mln euros on logistics

BRNO, Czech Republic, Czech property developer CTP Invest, whose real estate fund is a candidate for stock market offering, plans to invest 600 million euros ($842.6 million) on a new logistic centre, its co-owner said on Tuesday.

Ramon Vos, who is CTP Invest's managing director, said that the company's industrial and technological zone, the biggest of its kind in central Europe, would offer 700,000 square metres of rental area and could create up to 15,000 jobs by 2013.

Between 2008 and 2010, the site could employ up to 6,600 workers, he told reporters.

The Netherlands-based CTP Invest plans to float its fund CTP Property, valued at around 900 million euros, on the Prague and Amsterdam stock exchanges later this year or in early 2008.
