The Czech central state budget will show a deficit of around 81 billion crowns ($4.16 billion) this year, below the planned 91.3 billion crown...

...shortfall, Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek said.

He said that better-than-expected budget developments so far were behind the improved forecast.

Kalousek reiterated an improved outlook for the overall public sector deficit of 3.6 percent of gross domestic product, a figure Kalousek first revealed last week and below previously planned forecast of 3.9 percent.
