Czech power company CEZ said on Thursday it would raise its 2007 profit forecast when releasing third-quarter result on Nov. 15....

...

A spokesman said the change in outlook would include, among other factors, a 3 billion crown ($163 million) benefit from tax cuts effective over the next few years, which affect deferred tax.

"Tax cuts will be reflected through a fall in ... deferred taxes. This positive impact is on the level of three billion crowns, but we are not saying this is all," he said.

CEZ has forecast 35.1 billion crown net profit for the full-year 2007, before minority interests. (Reporting by Jan Lopatka; editing by Paul Bolding)
