...further repairs, the company said on Friday.
Unipetrol said the ethylene unit would run at 70-80 percent of capacity, while other units such as polypropylene and polyethylene were back in full swing.
Unipetrol had gone through a major shutdown in the past weeks, extended by faults.
The company said its 51-percent owned oil refinery Ceska Rafinerska was restarting a hydrocracker after an upgrade that raised capacity, and the unit would be fully operational by Nov. 13.
Unipetrol has said the planned shutdowns would take about 2 billion crowns ($109.5 million) out of operating profits, plus several hundred million on top due to the outage extensions.
The company, majority-owned by Poland's PKN Orlen is due to report third-quarter results on Nov. 13. (Reporting by Jan Lopatka; Editing by Quentin Bryar) ($1=18.27 Czech Crown)
