 are expected to jump to 170.31 million euros in the 
first nine months from 79.64 million a year ago, underpinned by 
expanding development activities and acquisitions.

    CEZ RESULTS SUBJECT TO INVESTIGATION: Police are looking 
into whether state-controlled companies -- power utility CEZ 
, airport operator Prague Airport, flagship carrier 
Czech Airlines and crude oil pipeline operator Cepro -- 
distorted their results in the past. 
    CEZ as well as officials at the other three companies say 
there is no substance in such allegations. 
    Finance Minister Kalousek suggested that publicizing this 
might be an attempt to damage the companies. Prague Airport and 
Czech Airlines are slated for privatisation next year.

    NWR MAY POSTPONE IPO: Coal mining group New World Resources 
(NWR), which controls the biggest Czech coal miner OKD, is 
likely to decide on Wednesday whether and when it will go ahead 
with its plan to float stock on bourses in London and Prague.
