...The Statistics Office will publish October producer price 
data, 0800 GMT. Analysts forecast producer price inflation of 
0.2 percent month-on-month in October, for an annual rate of 1.7 
percent. 
     
    GDP DATA REVISION 
    The Statistics Office will publish revised quarterly gross 
domestic product growth (GDP) data from 1995, 0800 GMT. 
     
    GOVERNMENT MEETING 
    The governemnt will hold a regular weekly meeting, 0900 GMT. 
     
    PARLIAMENT SESSION 
    The parliament will continue its regular monthly seesion, 
with the 2008 state budget draft as the key item on the agenda, 
0800 GMT. 
     
    CENTRAL BANK KEEPS RATES FLAT FOR 7TH MONTH 
    The Slovak central bank left interest rates on hold at the 
monthly policy meeting on Tuesday as strong crown kept monetary 
conditions tight and allowed keeping borrowing costs stable for 
the seventh month in a row.

    GOVT WITHSTANDS NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE 
    Slovakia's ruling coalition united on Tuesday to defeat an 
opposition no-confidence motion to dismiss the parliament 
speaker, a vote that calmed tensions that had threatened to 
topple the government.

    Slovakia's current account showed a preliminary deficit of 
51.3 billion crowns ($2.27 billion) in January-September, 
compared with an 89.5 billion crown gap in the same period of 
2006, the central bank said on Tuesday.

    END-AUG FOREIGN DEBT RISES TO $38.3 BLN 
    Slovakia's gross foreign debt edged up to $38.253 billion at 
the end of August from $38.241 billion at the end of July, the 
central bank (NBS) said on Tuesday.

    C.BANK DRAINS SKK 146.7 BLN IN REPO TENDER 
    The Slovak central bank (NBS) accepted all bids in a regular 
two-week repo tender on Tuesday, draining 146.684 billion crowns 
($6.52 billion) from the market, NBS data showed.
