    The Slovak parliament approved on Tuesday a budget draft for 
next year with a budget deficit target smaller than this year's 
as part of the country's plan to adopt the euro in 2009.

    NOV INFLATION SEEN OFF 10-MO HIGH, RATES FLAT 
    Slovak inflation probably fell from a 10-month peak in 
November on fundamentals, and interest rates will remain steady 
for an eight month in a row, a Reuters survey showed on Tuesday.

    C.BANK DRAINS SKK 156.1 BLN IN REPO TENDER 
    The Slovak central bank (NBS) accepted all bids in a regular
