...The Statistics Office will publish October industrial output 
data. Analysts forecast industrial output growth of 13.3 percent 
year-on-year, 0800 GMT. 
     
    CONSTRUCTION OUTPUT 
    The Statistics Office will publish October construction 
ouput data, 0800 GMT. 
     
    FOREX RESERVES 
    The central bank will publish its weekly foreign currency 
reserves data, 1300 GMT. 
     
    CO2 CAP 
    The European Commission is expected to announce a decision 
on Slovakia's carbon dioxide emission cap for 2008-2012, 1100 
GMT. 
     
    PM SEES EU RAISING SLOVAKIA CO2 CAP -AGENCY 
    The European Commission will probably raise Slovakia's 
carbon emissions limit for 2008-2012 by 1.7 million tonnes on 
Friday, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was quoted as saying 
on Thursday.

    NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE 
    Prime Minister Robert Fico survived a no-confidence vote 
late on Thursday. The motion was initiated by the opposition, 
which said Fico and his government were responsible for disputed 
land transfers. All three opposition parties, however, boycotted 
the vote in protest against the decision by the parliamentary 
chairman to hold it late in the evening.

    FICO ON RUSSIAN ELECTION 
    Prime Minister Robert Fico has acknowledged the outcome of 
Russia parliamentary election, which saw the victory of 
President Vladimir Putin's party. Fico has also reiterated 
Slovakia will not recognize Kosovo's unilateral declaration of 
independence.

    TELEFONICA LICENCE 
    The Highest Slovak Court rejected on Thursday a lawsuit 
against Telefonica O2 Slovakia mobile network licence.

    KIA SLOVAKIA OUTPUT 
    Kia Motors Corp.  has produced 140,000 cars to 
date in the Slovak plant. Kia said this year's production in 
Slovakia should reach 150,000 units.

    CARGO FINE 
    The Anti-Monopoly Office has lowered its fine against the 
country's rail freight company Cargo Slovakia to 9 million 
crowns ($395,100) from the previous 32 million crowns. The 
office had levied the fine for abusing the dominant market 
position.
