Gross domestic product (GDP) advanced 6.0 percent year-on-year, data showed earlier on Friday, versus the central bank's forecast of 5.9-6.3 percent growth envisaged by its projection unveiled in October.
Tomas Holub, head of the CNB's monetary and statistics department, said in a statement that third-quarter government consumption fell against the CNB's forecast of a mild rise, and net exports improved while the CNB had expected stagnation. (Reporting by Marek Petrus)
