    PRAGUE BOURSE ENDS YEAR STRONGER: The Prague Stock Exchange, 
as measured by its main PX index , rose 14.2 percent this 
year on the second highest volumes in its history, gaining 
nearly twice as much as in 2006 when it ended 7.8 percent 
firmer. 
    The last trading day of 2007 was on Friday. The market is 
closed on Monday and will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
