PRAGUE, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Czech financial markets on Friday:

POLITICAL TALKS

President Vaclav Klaus meets leaders of the five parties in the lower house at 10 a.m. (0900 GMT) for talks on the political stalemate. News briefing is due to follow.

Social Democrat leader Jiri Paroubek reiterated he wanted a chance to break political deadlock by trying to form a government capable of winning a confidence vote in parliament.

Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) Central Executive Committee meets at 2 p.m. (1300 GMT). News conference at 4:30 p.m. (1530 GMT).

FOREIGN TRADE

The September foreign trade balance, due out at 9 a.m. (0800 GMT), is forecast to have ended in a 5 billion crown monthly surplus <CZFTB=ECI>, according to a Reuters poll of analysts.

Lower imported crude oil prices have been expected to help keep the surplus flat from 5.3 billion crowns in September 2005.

CENTRAL BANK MINUTES

The central bank (CNB) releases minutes from its October 26 governing board meeting at 9 a.m. (0800 GMT), to be watched in markets for clues about the near-term outlook for monetary policy.

The CNB publishes a quarterly update of its Inflation Report at the same time.

TIGHTER CPI TARGET?

The CNB may want to set a tighter inflation target and higher interest rates before joining the euro zone to create a buffer for meeting price stability requirements, a top CNB policymaker said.

EXTRA BOND ISSUANCE

The Czech Republic will launch its first-ever 30-year bond this month to help pay an old state guarantee, becoming the first central European EU member country to offer a domestic issue with such a long maturity.
