(Temelin spokesman says Unit 1 will be shut on Friday night, not Saturday night as previously announced)
PRAGUE, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Czech nuclear power plant Temelin will shut down its 1,000 megawatt Unit 1 on Friday night for a regular test of the reactor's regulatory systems but is expected to renew electricity supplies on Monday, the firm said.
Temelin's Unit 2 has been shut for a regular fuel exchange, but the plant's spokesman said in a statement the reactor was getting ready for re-launch.
The plant is the biggest asset of state-owned utility CEZ <CEZPsp.PR>. ((Reporting by Marek Petrus; Editing by James Jukwey; Reuters Messaging: rm://marek.petrus.reuters.com@reuters.net; e-mail: prague.newsroom@reuters.com or marek.petrus@reuters.com; Tel: +420 224 190 477))
