PRAGUE, Oct 9 (Reuters) - The 2.7 percent annual rise in Czech consumer prices in September was 0.1 percentage point below the latest central bank forecast from July, the central bank (CNB) said in a statement on Monday.
Data published earlier on Monday showed a 0.7 percent monthly fall in the consumer price index (CPI), which squeezed the annual inflation rate below the 3 percent midpoint of the CNB's target range.
"Overall, it can be stated that the inflation deveploments in the past (third) quarter were almost fully in line with the CNB prediction," Tomas Holub, head of the central bank's monetary and statistics department, said in the statement.
