    CZECH REPUBLIC - Czechs elect one third of upper house of parliament for the 
next six-year term (first round). Czechs also elect representatives to local 
administrations. 
 
    MONDAY, October 23 
    PRAGUE - Ceska Sporitelna, a unit of Erste Bank <ERST.VI> <ERSTsp.PR>, to 
hold a seminar fiscal expansion and its impact on state debt refinancing (0900 
GMT). 
 
    TUESDAY, October 24 
    PRAGUE - The budget committee of the lower house of parliament is expected 
to continue discussion on the 2007 budget draft.
