    PM FICO TO ADDRESS CONFERENCE 
    Prime Minister Robert Fico is expected to address an 
economic conference titled "New Thinking in New Europe." 
     
    SNS NEWS CONFERENCE 
    The far-right Slovak National Party, a junior member of the 
ruling coalition, will hold a news conference on current 
political issues. 
     
    ARGICULTURE MINISTRY NEWS CONFERENCE 
    The agriculture ministry will hold a news conference. 
     
    CROWN HITS NEW HIGH VS EURO 
    The Slovak crown hit a new high of 36.444 against the euro 
on Wednesday and foreign investors saw room for more gains in 
the future, dealers said.

    LUXEMBOURG'S VICTOR BUCK TO INVEST IN SLOVAKIA 
    Luxembourg printing company Victor Buck will invest 473 
million crowns ($16 million) to build a plant in Slovakia, the 
Slovak investment agency Sario said on Wednesday.

    The finance ministry is proposing to tax bond yields, the
