CENTRAL BANK MEETS, NO POLICY DECISIONS SEEN
The central bank board will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, but no monetary policy decisions are expected on the agenda.
MORE PARTY MEETINGS SEEN
President Vaclav Klaus will meet Social Democrat (CSSD) leader Jiri Paroubek at 1030 GMT, followed by Communist Party (KSCM) leader Vojtech Filip at 1300 GMT as politicians continue to search for a deal to break the political stalemate in parliament.
Paroubek is also expected to meet Christian Democrat leader Jan Kasal during the day, the daily Mlada Fronta Dnes reported on Thursday.

GOVT MULLS CEZ BUY BACK
The Czech government will consider allowing state-owned power utility CEZ to buy back shares in the company from the state as part of its plan to aid the deficit-ridden budget.

CKA SUING UBS OVER ACCOUNT
The Czech state-run Consolidation Agency (CKA) said on Wednesday it was suing UBS AG <UBSN.VX> for 500 million crowns ($23 million), saying the Swiss bank failed to protect an account in the name of its Galileo affiliate.

CROWN REMAINS STRONG
The Czech crown rose to near three-month highs versus the euro on Wednesday as bullish regional sentiment held up on expectations U.S. interest rates would remain unchanged for a while.

PHILIP MORRIS CR SEES STABILISATION
Czech cigarette maker Philip Morris CR <TABKsp.PR> expects its domestic market share to stabilise in the second half after dropping in the first six months, Chief Executive Officer Anja Fiedler said on Wednesday.
