BRATISLAVA, Nov 7 (Reuters) - New Slovakia coach Jan Kocian called up two new recruits on Tuesday for a friendly against Bulgaria next week as he looks to revive their chances of qualifying for Euro 2008.
Kocian, 48, was recently named Slovakia's national coach after Dusan Galis stepped down to pursue a political career. Galis's last match was a 4-1 defeat to Germany in a European Championship Group D qualifier, which left the Slovaks in third.
Former Czechoslovakia defender Kocian said Liberec defender Peter Singlar, 27, and Zilina striker Adam Nemec, 21, would make their debuts in the Nov. 15 match in the central Slovak city of Zilina.
He added that Kamil Contofalsky and Lubos Hajduch would share goalkeeping duties against the Bulgarians.
