CEZ shares hit record, boosted by Warsaw debut

PRAGUE, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Shares in Czech power utility CEZ <CEZPsp.PR> <CEZP.WA> rose 3.23 percent to a record high of 880 crowns in Prague on Wednesday following their additional debut on the Warsaw stock exchange.

The shares broke through the previous high of 873 crowns set on February 28 and then pushed higher to touch 880 crowns before easing back to 876 crowns by 0847 GMT.

CEZ became the Warsaw market's biggest stock with a market value of $23 billion when it opened on Wednesday. Trade in the stock in Warsaw began at 120 zlotys per share, or 3.1 percent above the reference price.
