PRAGUE, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Czech downstream oil processing group Unipetrol <UNPEsp.PR> said on Friday it would incur a consolidated loss of 350 million crowns ($15.64 million) as a result of the sale of its chemicals plant Spolana.
Unipetrol has agreed to sell 82 percent of Spolana to Poland's Anwil, a unit of Unipetrol's majority owner PKN Orlen <PKNA.WA>, for 640.4 million crowns ($28.61 million). Analysts had estimated the stake to be worth about 1.1 billion crowns.
"When the overall result of the transaction has been taken into account on the consolidated profit and loss statement, there will be a loss of 350 million crowns," Unipetrol said.
