    The Slovak central bank's (NBS) monetary policy making Bank Board usually 
holds a policy meeting on the last Tuesday of every month. The board may change 
the date of its policy meetings.

    The Slovak Labour Office releases monthly unemployment figures around the 
15th of each month.

    TREASURY BONDS: 
    The following is a schedule of treasury bond auctions for 2006:

    NOTE: The auctions without specification will be subject to the Debt and 
Liqudity Management Agency's decision whether to issue treasury bonds, treasury 
bills, or whether to hold the action at all. 
    The ministry did not specify volumes that will be offered in the auctions. 
    The ministry also said it might buy back or exchange three-year bonds 
maturing on Jan. 14, 2007, in auctions scheduled for Oct. 10, Oct. 16, Nov. 5, 
Nov. 13, Dec. 4, Dec 11.
