PRAGUE, Nov 7 (Reuters) - The Czech rightist Civic Democrats recommended on Tuesday that party leader Mirek Topolanek accept an offer by President Vaclav Klaus to become prime minister.
Topolanek told a news conference after a meeting of the party's national leadership that he expected to meet Klaus soon.
Klaus first named Topolanek as prime minister after an inconclusive June election, but with the lower house split evenly between leftist and rightist parties, the rightist government failed to win a confidence vote and resigned.
